DONE DONE DONE!!

I am finally DONE with my summer classes and it feels GREAT!!! Now I can relax and I don't have to stress out about homework anymore. I can now focus on making money before I get back to school. I still have about 40 children's books to read for my class this fall but I'm hoping that won't be too bad. One month from now I will be back at HU and it will be our first day of classes. I'm not dreading it at all, I'm so ready to be back. I miss my friends like CRAZY!!

Plans for the weekend:
  • South Bend Silverhawks game Friday night
  • Saturday I am going to relax and find some books at the library
  • Sunday more relaxing and possibly going to the Amish Acres Arts and Crafts Festivle with my mom

Take notice that none of my plans involve doing homework!!!! I'm so happy : )

Busy, Busy, Busy!!

Sorry it's been forever since my last post! I've been so busy with work and homework. After I come home from painting for 8-9 hours, I feel like doing nothing. And on the days I don't work, my face is stuck in my textbooks. But after this week I only have two more weeks left of my classes! PLT!!!

Here's what I've done so far this week:

  • Monday: hair trim and went shopping with my mom. We had a Bed, Bath, and Beyond coupon so I got some stuff for my room with Bradie : )
  • Wednesday: Enjoyed my day off work, except I was stuck doing homework all day!!! UGH!
  • Thursday: Painted for 9 hours...oh so much fun

I AM SO READY TO GO BACK TO HU!! I miss my friends soooo much!

Mini Trip To Chicago

My brother had the week off from football so my parents decided that we should go stay overnight at Chicago. I was soooo excited because I LOVE Chicago!!! The first day we went to Woodfield Mall!

Then we drove to our hotel that was right by Michigan Avenue and put our stuff away, only to take off again to go eat at The Grand Lux Cafe. It's one of my favorite restaurants ever! The next day we shopped along Michigan Avenue and I took some pictures : )

Nike Town
Oh how I love this place! I never buy anything, but I love looking

The John Hancock Building

Giordano's
Evan loves this pizza, so of course we had to eat lunch there
I also found a really cute pair of YELLOW shoes [high heels] to wear with my dress at Payless! I then decided that I needed more yellow clothes to wear with my yellow shoes so I bought 2 dressy yellow shirts from Forever 21. Oh how I love shopping!!

One thing that I didn't expect to get out of this trip was a new phone! Evan's phone contract was up so he upgraded and got an Envy Touch, and I guess with that phone you get a free phone with it. So I got it and said goodbye to my old Venus. I've been wanting a plain flip phone for a long time so I was really really happy!

Well that pretty much sums up what I did Wednesday and Thursday this week : )
