THANK GOODNESS ITS FRIDAY!!!!

Last night I had so much fun with the girls at Bdubs!! I have amazing friends!!

Heres a glance into our evening...

I am going home this weekend! I haven't been home in a while so I'm very excited! Tomorrow I am going shopping with my mom and I can't wait!

On a side note, I am currently counting down the days until spring break: 16 more days until we leave for Florida!! Emily bought her plane tickets today! Woo hoo!

Thrilling Thursday

Last night the HU bball boys WON!! It was one of the best games I've ever been to. Congrats boys!!

On a sad note, Grey's Anatomy is not new tonight. I'll have to find something else to do between 9-10 : (

But I'm going to Bdubs tonight with my girls for dinner! I can't wait!

Today in Geography class we watched a short clip on factory workers in Juarez, Mexico. It made my heart break and reminded me of all the people I'd met on my mission trip there. I miss IMPACT so bad!

I want to go back to Juarez. God has placed a burden on my heart for this area and I will go back someday. Hopefully sometime SOON! I would love to go back this summer, unfortunately I just don't see that happening.

Well I am now off to start my big pile of homework. Fun fun!

Ash Wednesday

Last night we had a floor meeting and my RA challenged us to spiritually challenge ourselves over the next 40 days. Some of the ideas were:

• Read your Bible for a certain period of time every day
• Find something good in someone every day
• Intentionally pray in silence everyday
• Give something up and replace it with time with God

I decided that for the next 40 days I am going to block out 30 mins each day to spend time reading the Bible and praying. I am also going to work on not being so negative. Instead of talking bad or down about others, I am going to try and find the good in everyone. This also includes belittling my friends, even though I also do it in a joking manner. 40 days without negativity seems like a pretty big challenge for me...Wish me luck!!

Today I am going with Beth to the Homework Help Hour. Time to practice my teaching skills! And tonight I am going to the boys basketball game at Grace. Good luck boys!!

My first post

I finally decided to crack down and make a blog. Beth's blog really influenced me to make my own. Keep up the great work Beth = ] I'm not sure if anyone will read my posts but its worth a shot. I love typing so I think blogging is going to be very fun! Bare with me for the first couple of weeks as I figure out what I am doing, I promise I will get better. I must now see what the Roush 2nd Challenge is and then I am working out. Until next time...
